At ATL, we want to give you maximum flexibility in accessing our learning materials. Our courses are designed to help you become an authentic leader because all courses are based on the Authentic Leadership Theory, which means leading genuinely, inspiring, and motivating others.
To help you navigate this, we label our learning materials "Courses', and if more than one course is required to complete certification, these are labelled "Programs". Some courses stand alone, while others can be joined to form a 'Program'. While you will receive a certificate for each course you complete, Program Certification will be issued when all the component courses are completed.
- If your preferred learning style is self-directed, you are independent of a learning facilitator and can undertake any course at any time, following it online. Of course, you can always receive learning assistance or explanation by emailing the learning faciliator for your course. ATL always seeks to engage with any course participants, even if self-directed study is chosen. When you elect to undertake a course independently, you will be provided up to eight weeks of access to move through the course at your own pace.
- If you elect to learn through facilitated learning groups or individual facilitation, you will begin your course at the negotiated date with learning facilitators, and access to the course materials will be from that date. You can join online discussions with facilitators and other course participants to discuss how these concepts apply to real-world situations in their leadership journey.
You may enrol in more than one course at a time for all ATL courses. However, please consider the time you have to complete more than one course in eight weeks. If you have doubts about what you can achieve in the allocated access time, please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing [email protected] to set up an e-meeting or emailing to assist you.
Please note that you can do any courses comprising the Leading with Authenticity program without completing them all. However, you should be aware that you must complete all four courses to receive certification from Above-the-Line Training Associates. The order in which you complete the modules doesn't matter because they're all connected but can be taken independently. For each course you complete, you will receive a certificate. After completing all four prescribed courses, you will receive a certification for completion of the Leading with Authenticity Program and a strong foundation in authentic leadership. You will be well-equipped to put it into practice in your leadership role.
